Glasgow businesswoman Karen Addison is opening a new health and wellbeing clinic on West Regent Street this winter.
The Sur Wellness clinic will be set across three floors and will feature a range of health professionals offering aesthetic, surgical and psychological treatments, aiming to bring a more holistic approach to physical and mental health.
The team have spent the last 12 months developing a treatment list, with the clinic being equipped with a day surgery theatre suite. Specialities include facial surgery - blepharoplasty, scar revision, split ear corrections - upper limb surgery, gynaecology and dermatology - including skin cancer testing and mole removal.
The facility will also provide non-surgical treatments, such as facial injectable treatments, as well as the latest medical device-based treatments for face and body.
Sur Wellness will conduct in-demand private GP services, including sexual health screenings, family planning services, occupational health, vaccinations, blood screenings and intravenous vitamin infusions. Specialists are also available for psychological appointment referrals, including grief coaching, weight management, addiction therapy and hypnotherapy.
Addison is a registered nurse who has specialised in medical aesthetics for over 15 years and already owns the Sur MediSpa in Uddingston.
She explained: “Opening a dedicated clinical facility in Glasgow is the next step in my quest to bring world leading aesthetics to Scotland and lead the way for a completely holistic approach to patient care.
“I hope that bringing together a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, doctors, nurses, psychologists and associated staff - alongside the best training in Scotland - will enable us to put ourselves on a world-class stage within the industry.“
The in-house Sur Academy aims to train the next generation of medical aesthetic practitioners.
