When the countdown clock strikes zero, the New Glenn rocket will ignite its seven BE-4 engines, propelling the 30-story rocket off the launchpad and into space. This powerful blast of energy marks the beginning of an exciting journey into the cosmos.
Shortly after liftoff, the seven engines will cease operation, and the first-stage rocket booster, housing the BE-4 engines, will separate from the upper stage of the rocket. The upper stage, which includes the nose cone and other components, will continue its ascent.
