Jordan Henderson and Gabriel could be seen exchanging words in calmer scenes after Arsenal beat Liverpool on Sunday.
The pair had become involved in a furious row towards the end of the Gunners' 3-2 victory, and FA chiefs have been called in to investigate after an on-pitch comment was reported.
Referee Michael Oliver informed both managers that a comment had been reported at the time, and he has spoken to both players to get their versions of the incident. Lip readers could also be used to review footage from the matter, while players who were nearby during the furious bust-up between both sides may also be asked what they saw and heard.
