New Faze Temperrr vs King Kenny result announced after fight was rescored

YouTube star Faze Temperrr has been declared the new winner of last Saturday's YouTube boxing match against King Kenny after an unprecedented rescore.

The social media sensations fought at the OVO Arena Wembley in the co-main event of Showstar Boxing's debut event, but the fight was marred in controversy after the Brit took the hometown decision.

Temperrr was given the nod on one judge's scorecard, while Kenny took the win with the other two, but an appeal was successfully granted in the days following the fight.

"Officially started the appeal process today," Temperrr, whose real name is Thomas Oliveira wrote on Twitter.

The PBA later confirmed the fight would be rescored due to "chaotic and dangerous" circumstances experienced by the officials while scoring the bout. It has now been scored as a unanimous decision victory for Faze Temperrr.

Likely a large part of the reason for Temperrr's furious reaction to the result is the "winner take all" stipulation the pair agreed to before the fight.

Advertising for the fight heavily promoted the stipulation, and speaking to Mirror Fighting before the event, they both confirmed that it was legitimate.

"Do you think we would lie?" Temperrr responded when asked about if the stipulation was legitimate at the pre-fight press conference.

And the Brit, whose full name is Kenny Ojuederie further confirmed it by taunting his rival, adding: "He's going to have come all the way here and go back home having lost and got no money ."

The purse number has not been revealed, but Ojuederie added: "I can't disclose how much but it's decent."

After having his hand raised on the night, Kenny took to social media to address the controversy, writing: "Everyone in the arena saw I won that. I don't know why people online are saying it’s rigged.

"I'm going to review the whole fight shortly on a video and show why I won. And if he wants to run it back in America for me to beat him again then bring it!"

But in a later YouTube video, he backtracked on the comments, saying that he was happy to rematch Oliveira in a professional bout with 10oz gloves in America.

He admitted that the controversy was justified after a razor-close third round, and said that he wouldn't be viewing the result as a win as his career progresses.

"There was a lot of controversy behind my win," he told his two million+ followers. "A lot of people are saying it was a rigged fight.

"I feel like that's very unfair, because it was a very, very close fight.

"Round one and two, Thomas won those rounds, but four and five were my rounds - but round three could have gone either way.

"So I understand why the public's opinion is split and for that reason I don't want to claim the victory.

"When I win, I want to make sure I won clean cut, no questions about it, massive respect to Faze Temperrr, Thomas and I put on a great show and a lot of people say we had fight of the night.

"You're saying you got robbed, I'm saying let's settle this with a rematch, on your turf, a professional fight with 10oz gloves.

"This time I'm not going to leave it to the judges."
