Newly released emails tied to Jeffrey Epstein have pulled Andrew Mountbatten Windsor back into a spotlight he has spent years trying to escape. These messages suggest that his connection to Epstein stretched on longer than he had claimed and his own biographer says the revelations could be the final nail in the coffin for the disgraced royal, reported by the Mirror.
For years Andrew has insisted he cut ties with Epstein in 2010. The emails paint a different picture. Epstein even confirmed to a journalist that Andrew had posed for a photo with accuser Virginia Giuffre, saying, “Yes she (Virginia) was on my plane, and yes she had her picture taken with Andrew, as many of my employees have.”

That picture of Giuffre, Andrew, and Ghislaine Maxwell has circulated for years. Andrew has long questioned its authenticity and once told the BBC, “Nobody can prove whether or not that photograph has been doctored but I do not recollect that photograph ever being taken.”
The fallout has only grown. King Charles removed Andrew’s royal titles and honours and Buckingham Palace made clear the monarch stands with “survivors of any and all forms of abuse.” At the same time, Andrew agreed to give up Royal Lodge after it was revealed he had been paying only a “peppercorn” rent for the sprawling property he has lived in for more than two decades.

The home drew new outrage as Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir moved closer to release, stirring up past allegations Andrew has always vehemently denied.

Andrew Lownie who wrote the biography Entitled The Rise and Fall of the House of York told the Mirror that the emails “highlights the lies” Andrew told about his relationship with Epstein. He believes there is more to come and says, “There can be no doubt now about how deeply involved [he was] with the convicted paedophile. Andrew needs to be investigated as a flight risk and his passport should be surrendered.”
Sources told The Sun that Andrew has been offered what they call an escape route in the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is said to have offered him free use of a palace in Abu Dhabi. The offer supposedly reflects gratitude for Andrew’s past work as a trade envoy to the UK.
Lownie thinks leaving the country is a real possibility and compares it to King Juan Carlos I of Spain who stepped away to avoid growing scrutiny. Andrew for now is expected to move to a home on King Charles’s private Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
