Edinburgh's vegans have been waxing lyrical about a new restaurant which serves the 'best Vietnamese food outside Vietnam'.
Hugely popular in London, where it is 'proudly the first and number one Vietnamese vegan-only restaurant' in all of the UK capital, Sen Viet's second restaurant is now welcoming in customers in Edinburgh.
Occupying the former Passorn Thai restaurant at 23 Brougham Place, just by The Meadows, the owners announced over the weekend: "Dear friends, just so you know that our "twin" vegan version has now been present in the heart of Edinburgh Scotland (EH3 9JU).

"Like us here of London, we hope you will also welcome and check our mate out when in town too!!"
And those lucky enough to have popped by over the weekend have already been raving about the city's latest South East Asian diner. One person said: "I went to this restaurant today and yesterday and can confirm it is amazing and exactly what Edinburgh needs. Please go and support them.
"The staff are friendly and it's the best Vietnamese food I've had outside of Vietnam."
Another person added: "Absolutely delicious Vietnamese vegan food, good enough to please meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans. There was a wide range of dishes. Everything I sampled was delicious, from the summer rolls and salads to the sizzling mushroom dish.
"The staff were friendly and attentive. This restaurant is newly opened, and I can already say it is a favourite!"
A quick look at the menu, which can be viewed on the restaurant's website here, shows they'll be serving up Vietnamese classics such as spring rolls, salads, pho noodle soups, stir fried noodles, chilli tofu dishes and more.
