Plans to transform a vacant area of land next to Edinburgh's Fort Kinnaird retail park into three huge business units are set to be granted.
An application was previously submitted to the council which would see the site, on Oversman Road, developed into three industry units including a new car showroom.
Planning officials have reviewed the application and have recommended to councillors that permission be granted during Wednesday's Development Management Sub-Committee meeting.

The plans were put to the council at the end of 2022. In a design and access statement the applicant said: "The existing site has remained vacant for numerous years, whilst development has continued on the surrounding neighbouring sites. The site itself is predominantly flat with some minor level change towards the existing roundabout at the south-east corner of the site.
"The land shows signs of furrowing and contains a mixture of grassland, tall ruderals, trees and low shrubs. The site is noted as having been subject to fly tipping - resulting in an untidy, unappealing area. With the intention to redevelop the site, the client is now looking to clear litter and materials prior to construction."
In a document prepared by planning officials at the council, they say the site "may be affected by contamination and historical coal mining issues" which would require assessment and remediation to ensure the land is safe.
The proposal is for planning permission for three detached business, industrial or storage units or a car showroom, of which there are several in the area, with trade counters and associated car parking and access.
The decision will now be put to councillors to vote on, with refusal still a possibility despite planning officers' recommendation.
