Work is set to begin on a new Edinburgh 'green corridor' that will be formed by connecting disused parts of land between two busy areas in the capital.
The route will start at Roseburn and conclude at the Union Canal, making it more accessible for both pedestrians and cyclists and transform it into a public space as part of the council's £12.5million project.
Work will begin on January 30 with the announcement coming over a year ago. Construction is expected to run until April 2024 with the scheme split into three different sections - Sauchiebank Gardens, Duff Street Woodland and Dalry Community Park.
