Liverpool John Lennon Airport has announced a new route to Paris.
Starting from October 30, easyJet will operate flights from Liverpool to Charles de Gaulle Airport in the French capital. A one-way ticket from Liverpool will start at £23.
The new route offers passengers a more frequent service from Liverpool to Paris. Ryanair already operates two flights a week from John Lennon to Paris Beauvais, but the new easyJet route will operate between three and seven days a week.

July 1 saw the first flights from Belfast City to Liverpool take off. easyJet will initially operate the route on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays before offering a daily service from September 1 until October 29.
Additionally, the airport will welcome a new airline on November 4. Icelandic carrier PLAY will offer budget flights from Liverpool to Reykjavik, from where passengers can make onward connections to the United States.
