There's a treat in store when Dunkin' Donuts opens its doors in West Bridgford this weekend. Guest of honour Nottingham Panthers' mascot Paws the Panther will be there to welcome diners on Saturday June 18.
Dunkin' is the latest business to open at Wilford Lane Retail Park, hot on the heels of the Cod's Scallops, PureGym and Lidl. Launch day will include merchandise giveaways, free coffee and donuts, face painting for all the family, and games like Dunk for a Donut.
The first 50 customers through the door after the official ribbon cutting ceremony at 10am will receive an exclusive card which entitles them to free hot and cold drinks for 30 days.

James Guy, new store openings manager said: “At Dunkin’ we wholeheartedly believe that the world runs on positive energy and nothing gives you a boost quite like freshly brewed coffee and sweet treats. This will be our fourth location in the Nottingham area. The people of Notts have supported us brilliantly at our other locations and we’re thrilled to be able to bring this new store to West Bridgford.
“Our vision for the new store is to provide the people of West Bridgford with a place to make sweet memories with family and friends. I hope to meet many of you at our amazing opening event where we’ll be giving you the opportunity to win all kinds of Dunkin’ goodies.”
Sixteen new jobs have been created by the new store. There will be face painting from 10am to 2pm, and Paws the Panther will arrive at 11am.
