New drug for cancer patients with ‘limited’ treatment options enters clinical trial

Patients battling a rare and aggressive cancer with “limited” treatment options could soon benefit from an “exciting” new drug.

Scientists have expressed "excitement" over the potential of CY-101 (getacatetide), an immunotherapy developed by biotech firm Cytovation, as a new treatment for advanced adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), which affects the adrenal glands.
