Britain’s cheapest new car is being completely reinvented, with Dacia revealing an all-new Spring that promises more space, more technology and up to 155 miles of range. The big question, though, is whether it’ll still be Britain’s cheapest car when it arrives.
That particular title has become something of a two-way fight between the Dacia Spring and Leapmotor T03, with the pair taking turns at undercutting each other. The current Spring starts at just £11,990 following a sizeable £4,000 price cut this summer, putting it below the £12,995 Leapmotor T03. That came shortly after Leapmotor had reduced the price of the T03 and briefly grabbed the cheapest-car crown itself.
