A new café specialising in coffee and desserts is to open on Bold Street.
The popular city centre street is a hotbed of independent food haunts, with an eclectic mix of restaurants and cafes to choose from. It’s also home to a number of bars and shops, offering something for everyone.
Now, new café Fat Fux is set to be the newest addition to the booming street. Located next door to vintage clothing retailer Pop Boutique, the new café is taking over the former Slim's bar and restaurant.

The interior of Fat Fux is currently hidden from public view, with its frontage kitted out in purple and pink graphics. The Fat Fux logo is above the door, while the words “coffee and chocolate” and “desserts and churros” frame it, letting future customers know what to expect.
Fat Fux has launched an Instagram page, but there have yet to be any posts, and no opening date has been announced. The new venue, which can be found at 108 Bold Street, is opposite Bold Street Coffee. It may have a new next door neighbour by the time it opens, as a new building is currently under construction.
