Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) has appointed its new chief executive.
David Whitehouse, who will take on the role from January, is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience.
He is known for his hands-on leadership and passion for energy and engineering, which is built on a PhD in theoretical chemistry from Cambridge University and a first-class degree in chemistry from Manchester University. He is also currently studying at the University of Aberdeen for a masters in renewable engineering.
