There are strong rumours to indicate that Chelsea's third and what will be a world-record bid for Leicester star Wesley Fofana will be submitted imminently and a certain new signing has dropped a hint of what the outcome of this offer will be.
Fofana started and played at the weekend for the Foxes against Brentford but didn't look his usual self. Some claimed that his head was elsewhere as he stormed down the tunnel quickly after the final whistle confirmed the Bees' comeback at the King Power Stadium. Prior to kick-off, Brendan Rodgers had confirmed that both the defender and James Maddison's head were firmly in the game amid constant speculation surrounding their own futures.
"Yes, 100 per cent. I think it's always a challenging time until the window shuts. There's always speculation and gossip around players leaving but I always assess the players every day and if their mentality and commitment doesn't change, then that's all you want," he told Sky Sports pre-match. "So, yeah, both players are very important players for us and I look forward to seeing them play."
