Stamford Bridge is set to undergo major renovations following Chelsea's spritely summer transfer window, according to reports. The Blues' new owners have welcomed five new players to west London, backing Thomas Tuchel with £168million-worth of star-studded talent.
According to The Telegraph, the Todd Boehly-Clearlake consortium will invest in upgrades to Stamford Bridge which include renovation of the West Stand and new murals around the ground. The LA Dodgers' co-owner has undergone a similar strategy before with a number of his sport franchises.
The report states that Boehly has appointed executive Janet Marie Smith to lead the project. The architect has led, built and managed a number stadium renovations in the United States, one of which was the Dodger Stadium owned by Chelsea's new chairman and interim sporting director who invested around £200million in renovations.

It's said that the Boehly-Clearlake consortium 'want to create a greater sense of belonging for fans around the stadium' and build the club's identity on the biggest stage. The Telegraph adds that there are also transport plans for further changes around Fulham Broadway.
The owner's decision to set their sights on Stamford Bridge follows a fruitful summer transfer window. And, it's fair to assume that Tuchel will be excited by the prospective renovation of the stadium after he vocalised complaints of the ground in April.
Following Chelsea’s 4-2 loss to Arsenal, the Blues boss claimed that the pitch at Stamford Bridge 'is not to his sides favour'. Speaking to the press, Tuchel said: "To say that the pitch is difficult to play here sounds like an excuse, but it is.
"It is a very difficult pitch we have here. It's not to our favour. The ball bounces very awkwardly in front of Andreas (Christensen) when he runs to play the ball. We had the same mistake against Real Madrid."
While the pitch itself may not take priority in the Boehly-Clearlake renovations, it could quickly become a topic of conversation again once work is underway.
