Popular bar and restaurant brand, The Club House, has revealed the opening date for its brand new venue in Cardiff Bay's Mermaid Quay - and it's sooner than you think.
The Club House, which boasts a holiday-themed bar and restaurant and is owned by the same company that owns the Botanist, currently has venues in Liverpool and Bristol and will open the doors of its third location to the public next week on Monday, August 29.
Set in a prime spot in Cardiff Bay's food haven, it will be located in the former SA Brain & Co Salt Bar premises, and according to its Facebook Page, with "a lick of paint, a lightbulb or 100, a lot of new furniture, a mouthwatering new menu" has been transformed into The Club House.

On Wednesday, August 24, they have also opened bookings for their 'practice sessions' - this is not a practice for us, as restaurant goers, but for their new servers to "put into practise everything they have learnt." Of these sessions, The Club House has said: "These sessions are the first chance for our teams to serve real guests. We will not be officially open to the public, and there will be no availability for walk-in reservations."
Eager punters will be available to book a slot at the brand new The Club House from 12 midday when it opens - according to its booking site here.
The new relaxed dining bar/restaurant, as per the restaurant's website, is "part of a high-profile, 9,000 sq ft two-storey unit – complete with balcony area overlooking Tacoma Square and Cardiff Bay" and adds of its theme: "That feeling when you first arrive on holiday, where you leave the run-of-the-mill, real-world behind and your cares just slip away… you can't beat it. So we've captured it, with The Club House. You can enjoy that holiday feeling anytime you fancy."
The Club House is just one of the many new offerings soon to grace Cardiff and its Bay area. Coming to the city centre imminently is the Ivy Asia, Giggling Squid and Maison Entrecôte while Cardiff Market has welcomed a brand new stall Smashed Cardiff LTD - read our review of its burgers here.
