Met Éireann have warned that "disruption is likely" as rain is set to pelt down across the country - with the national forecaster issuing two new weather warnings, including a Status Orange alert.
We already had a Status Yellow warning in place which was set to come into effect at 4am on Wednesday morning.
But an update to the models and systems used by Met Éireann has meant that that the rain warning now kicks in at 10pm on Tuesday, and has been upgraded to Status Orange.

The warning reads: "Heavy rain on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Wednesday night with the possibility of thundery downpours, will lead to localised flooding. Disruption is likely."
The orange warning is in place for Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow and expires at midnight on Thursday.
At the same time as the orange warning, a new Status Yellow warning for rain is in place affecting Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary, with forecasters saying: "Heavy rain on Tuesday night and Wednesday, with the possibility of thundery downpours, will lead to localised flooding and some disruption."
That expires at midnight on Wednesday, but not before six more counties come under a third warning, again for rain.
As the horrific weather passes northward, Cavan, Monaghan, Dublin, Kildare, Louth and Meath at at risk of floods, with a Status Yellow rain warning in effect from 4am on Wednesday morning until midnight.
The overall forecast for Tuesday evening reads: "Becoming wet tonight as rain in the southwest spreads northeastwards over the country. The rain will be heavy, possibly leading to localised flooding. Some parts of Ulster will stay dry until morning. Breezy also with fresh easterly winds. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11C generally, but milder in the south and southwest."
It continues: "Tomorrow morning will start off wet with heavy rain which may lead to flooding. The rain will ease for a time later in the morning before further rain spreads from the south in the afternoon and evening. It'll be heaviest and most persistent in the south and southwest with further localised flooding possible. Blustery in fresh to strong and gusty easterly winds. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15C."
