New Bristol independent traders' market in Broadmead extended due to early success

A new local traders’ market in Bristol’s Broadmead area has proven so successful it has added further dates. Better Sundays Broadmead is organised by Better Events, a Bristol-based not-for-profit social enterprise run by Jai Breitnauer and Jess Milton.

The first event took place in June and took up the space between Union Street and the central sculpture in Broadmead. Stalls range from vintage clothing, homewares and plants to baked goods and drinks, and there are graffiti workshops, magic shows, catwalks, and live wood carving.

Better Sundays Broadmead is described as a ‘local, social and ethical’ market designed to bring people together in the city centre. There are workshops and entertainment as well as traders from Bristol and the South West including Upcycled Mushrooms, Veli Goods Vegan Deli, Busy V Bakery and Kasa Chiropractic.
