New Bristol cocktail festival promises long weekend full of martinis and margaritas

Bristol is getting a brand new cocktail festival that promises a weekend full of martinis, margaritas and more. Home to some of the best cocktail bars in the country, Bristol Cocktail Weekend is coming this autumn offering a selection of signature drinks at some of the city's 'world-class' bars.

The event - arriving on Thursday, September 28 until Sunday, October 1 - is hosted by events group Living For The Weekend with sponsorship and support from Bristol City Centre BID. After the concept saw success in the Midlands, the Bristol leg of the event will be a culmination of months of planning and is set to welcome many of the city’s key spots to feature as part of the weekend later this year.

Bristol Cocktail Weekend is the brainchild of Living For The Weekend founder and director, Alex Nicholson-Evans. Championing both hospitality and culture, Alex is working alongside giants of Bristol’s cocktail scene to bring the festival to life - including the owner of Her Majesty’s Secret Service and the award-winning Filthy XII, Ben Alcock, as well as international hospitality expert and owner of Loose Cannon, Akos Rabi.
