A new state-of-the-art bowling alley is heading to the Trafford Palazzo. King Pins is set to open in the spring, and will boast 15 lanes of 10 pin bowling.
It will also have a host of other games to go at, including six lanes of ‘duck bowling’, a shorter laned, faster version of bowling that’s new to the UK. As well as bowling games, there will be shuffleboard, a mini ‘RoboKeeper’ football game with a robotic goalkeeper, ice free curling, air hockey, karaoke booths and arcade games galore.

The alley will also feature the UK’s first 26 metre long digital screen which will span the length of the 15 lanes. Two Manchester food traders will be providing the snacks, to be announced soon, while the bar will be serving beers from local brewery Seven Bro7hers.
Matt Jones, chief executive of King Pins, said: “We’re looking forward to opening the crown jewels of bowling very soon. King Pins is a quality evolution of the rather outdated family bowling alleys.
“Guests will enjoy stunning-looking bowling lanes of course, but then there’s new interactive, fun games at every corner, fantastic local food operators serving up a tasty menu, plus a brilliant central bar and a great soundtrack.
“During the day, King Pins will be a place for the whole family to have fun, but by night the space will transform into an entertainment venue with music, drinks and bowling, perfect for adults looking for late night fun.”
The new alley will be located near to the Legoland Discovery Centre and Sea Life.
