A Belfast artist will unveil a new book and art exhibition at a special event in Belfast city centre this week.
Clinton Kirkpatrick will be launching his new book, Observing. Digesting. Spitting. in the Green Room of the Black Box on Thursday, June 1, which will feature a range of painting that he has created based on his observations of life over the past couple of years.
This is the third book that Clinton has released since 2017 when he started to focus on drawing everyday and documenting the world around in his own creative way.

The work is based on his own experiences over the years, along with key events that have taken place and his thoughts on how different aspects of society impact us with the aim of promoting social awareness.
Speaking to Belfast Live, Clinton said: "I am very excited to launch my new exhibition and book this week in the Black Box which features a range of artwork I have been working on over the past few years.
"I have titled the work Observing. Digesting. Spitting. because it is mainly based on my observations of the world, which I have digested internally and then spit back out onto a page and it aims to show my own place in the world and how different forces, systems and events impact us.
"The work mainly focuses on a surrealist still that shows the absurdity in some of the work and I use a cartoonish style to show what I was going through at the time. For example, one of the pieces shows two elbows touching, which was a big symbol during the pandemic of how we were able to interact with one another.
"I hope that others will be able to resonate with my work and get the same enjoyment from it as I had creating it."
