New Blues forge own winning path far from past failures

Few people know more about the highs and lows of playing rugby league for their state than NSW assistant coach Ruan Sims.

Her playing career coincided with one of the most lop-sided contests in sporting history with Queensland winning every women's Origin matchup with their southern neighbours for 16 years, until Sims captained NSW to victory in 2016.
