New Blade Runner TV series set to be filmed in Northern Ireland

A sequel to the cult classic film Blade Runner is set to be the next major production to film in Northern Ireland.

On Tuesday, Northern Ireland Screen confirmed that the new TV series Blade Runner 2099 for Amazon Studios will be filmed in NI.

The news was announced at an event launching the screen agency's new strategy 'Stories, Skills and Sustainability' detailing plans for the next four years while celebrating the success and groundbreaking achievements of the industry.
