Filming has begun for a new BBC series in Bristol. And veteran award-winning actor Timothy Spall was spotted in BS2 as filming got underway yesterday (22 July).
Wild Mercury Productions is filming in Bristol for new BBC drama, The Sixth Commandment. A factual drama, the new series covers a complex criminal case that still shocks the UK today: the deaths of Peter Farquhar and Ann Moore-Martin.
Churchwarden, Benjamin Field, was jailed for murdering author, Peter Farquhar, in an attempt to inherit his estate. Farquhar died in October 2015 in Maids Moreton, a village in Buckinghamshire, after Field duped Farquhar and Ann Moore-Martin into fake relationships in order to alter Peter's will, and the BBC series covers this shocking crime.
