New bar hailed as 'love letter to Manchester' to open in Northern Quarter

Two college friends from Stockport have announced plans to open their first bar and eatery in the Northern Quarter, which has been described as a ‘love letter’ to the city.

Disorder, which is set to open early next year, will take over the former Walrus and Man With The Fish building on High Street. Across two floors, the venue will serve Asian-inspired street food, cocktails and beers from around the world, while the lower floor bar will host live music and DJ nights.

The venue is currently undergoing a full makeover, which will feature huge bifold doors, Chesterfield sofas and a mural of Ian Curtis created by well-known Manchester street artist Akse P19.
