High end fashion brand Balenciaga just released a new Spring 2022 designer bag that shoppers think they've seen before. The Monday Shopper Bag, which costs almost £1000, has been compared by shoppers to the old design of Tesco carrier bags.
Shoppers have said you could easily mistake one for the other. While the old Tesco carriers were made of plastic and cost pennies, Balenciaga's fashion bag is made of paper calfskin and will set you back £925.
The Balenciaga website describes the bag as "a modern interpretation of an archetypal bag". The design even features a logo of a little red man throwing something in a bin with a big cross through it to highlight that this isn't a single-use carrier bag, MyLondon reports.
