A new B&Q store is set to open at a Nottinghamshire retail park. The company has gained planning permission from Newark and Sherwood District Council to open at Maltings Retail Park.
They say it will have a wide range of products available for shoppers and offer click and collect and home delivery. An opening date is yet to be confirmed with the new store currently under construction.
A B&Q Spokesperson said: “Our planning application for a smaller store in Newark has been approved, which will be situated at The Maltings Retail Park. "The new smaller store will have a wide range of home improvement products while offering customers access to the full B&Q range of more than 40,000 products through home delivery and Click & Collect, as well as access to specialist services help on those tricker projects.

"We look forward to opening our doors and supporting the people of Newark with all their home improvement needs.” The Maltings Retail Park in North Gate Road, Newark, has been under construction since 2020 and an M&S store opened at the site earlier this year. People have spoken about living in-between two of the town's largest retail parks.
