New axe throwing attraction and bar to open soon in Nottingham city centre

A new axe throwing attraction with games including noughts and crosses and battle axe is set to open in Nottingham very soon. The American craze now sweeping the UK will see the arrival of Axed on the second floor of the Cornerhouse.

It's the second axe throwing haunt in the city centre, following Hatchet Harry's, which opened in Lister Gate last year. Axed has ten interactive smart lanes, with room for a maximum of four players in each.

Assistant manager Elle Bowmar said Axed is different to other venues. Here there's touch screen technology where players can choose which game they want to play and there's more that the traditional target to aim at. Games are projected onto the board.
