Bombshell allegations have surfaced claiming Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was warned about Jeffrey Epstein’s behaviour toward women more than a year before the financier allegedly trafficked 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre to London.
A woman who recently received a financial settlement as one of Epstein’s victims says she told Andrew in the late 1990s that Epstein had behaved “inappropriately towards her,” and that Andrew responded by saying “he wasn’t surprised” because someone else had already raised similar concerns.

According to details shared with The Mail on Sunday, the woman — an actress Andrew dated in the late 1990s and who cannot be identified for legal reasons — first met Epstein when Andrew introduced her to him and Ghislaine Maxwell during a visit to Windsor Castle. Her lawyer, Perry Wander, says she later revealed to Andrew that Epstein had mistreated her.

Wander claims she was inspired to come forward by “the profound impact of Virginia Giuffre’s passing” and by Giuffre’s earlier willingness to speak publicly. The new allegations mark the first time Andrew has been accused of introducing a woman to Epstein. They also raise further questions about how much he knew about Epstein’s behaviour at the time.
Andrew did not respond to a request for comment. The woman, who was then trying to break into film and television, reportedly grew close to Andrew after meeting in 1999 and even joined him for lunch at Buckingham Palace. Wander says Andrew encouraged her to spend time with Epstein, including flying on his private jet and visiting his residences in Palm Beach and on his private Caribbean island. Epstein died by suicide in 2019.

The woman alleges she was repeatedly abused by Epstein and is believed to have been among the final victims compensated through his estate. Wander says she struggled for years to process what happened to her, and that although she did not tell Andrew she had been sexually assaulted, she did explain that Epstein had behaved improperly.

“One memory that stayed with her,” Wander noted, was Andrew admitting that another woman had made a similar complaint. She recalls wondering why, if Andrew knew that, he still urged her to spend time with Epstein. Documents released earlier this month revealed she emailed Epstein a supportive message the day after his 2019 arrest.
Wander said the message reflected a psychological “trauma bond,” explaining that “Jeffrey used emotional manipulation, psychological pressure, sexual violence and coercive control to gaslight her.” Andrew lost all his Royal titles last month after a leaked email contradicted his public claim that he had “never had any contact” with Epstein after their 2010 meeting in New York. The latest claims are expected to intensify calls for him to testify before the U.S. Congress on his relationship with the disgraced financier.
