A NEWLY announced bus route is set to keep some more change in the pockets of Glasgow's holiday makers.
Ember have announced that they will launch their new E20 service from Buchanan Bus Station to Edinburgh Airport on September 2, with a standard adult single costing just £7.55.
That's less than half the price of the same ticket on Citylink's long running AIR service, which at present would set you back £16.80.
It will service stops in Chapelhall, Harthill, Heartlands and Livingston Deer Park, with stops in Harthill and Heartlands becoming available from September 9, following an initial week of express services.
Ember promises no hidden booking fees and no change in pricing based on when tickets are booked.
If promises are kept, the service will actually be cheaper for an adult traveller than the First Bus offering which carries passengers from Glasgow Airport to the city centre.
