Nevin Harrison, the reigning gold medalist in the women’s 200-meter canoe sprint, has secured a silver medal in the recent competition. The American athlete narrowly missed the top spot on the podium, finishing just one hundredth of a second behind Katie Vincent of Canada.

Katie Vincent made history by setting a new world record with her impressive time of 44.12 seconds. Nevin Harrison, aged 22, put up a strong performance but fell short of reclaiming the gold medal she had won in Tokyo.
