Neverness to Everness Console guide: How to get Cartridges and Modules

Console is an artifact system in Neverness to Everness that allows you to make your characters stronger. Unlike most gacha games that tie artifacts to a specific set, NTE separates the two into Cartridges and Modules.

Here’s a complete breakdown of the Console in NTE, including Cartridges, Modules, and how to get them.

Cartridges in NTE determine the set bonus. Each Cartridge has a two-piece and a four-piece set bonus. To activate them, you must install the right Modules, shown on the Console screen. For example, Speedy Hedgehog requires four different corner Modules (Type III Module).

You can farm Cartridges from the Rabbit Hole Anomaly Zone, on the south side of the New Herland District. There are multiple stages, each dropping specific Cartridges, alongside Carrota, and upgrade materials. One run consumes 40 Character Pixels, but you can claim double rewards to save time.

Modules in Neverness to Everness are individual artifacts. Unlike most gacha games, Modules aren’t tied to a specific set. As long as the shape matches the Cartridge’s requirement, the Module will activate the set bonus.

Module shape and angle:

Some Modules have the same name and shape but multiple angles. You must match the shape and the angle to activate the set bonus.

Every character has a unique Console socket, and you must fit the Modules as if you were playing Tetris. Inserting more than four Modules doesn’t grant any benefit. Even though some Consoles allow you to squeeze an extra Module, doing so doesn’t increase the stats.

To get Modules, use the Rewind feature in the bottom-left corner of the Console screen. Here, you can use Carrotas that drop from the Rabbit Hole domains to get random Modules. As you increase your Hunter Level, you’ll be able to access higher stages and get higher-rarity Modules.

Here are the Rewind stages and what they drop:

  • Easy (available immediately): Blue Modules
  • Normal (Hunter Level 20): Purple Modules
  • Hard (Hunter Level 30): Orange Modules

On Normal and Hard difficulties, you can choose eight Modules to target specific shapes. Choosing a duplicate Module increases the chances, making farming endgame Modules a bit easier.
