While the San Francisco 49ers will be fighting for a spot in the NFC Championship in a rivalry battle with the Dallas Cowboys in Santa Clara, the Golden State Warriors will also be on the court on Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets in San Francisco.
After a five-game road swing, the Warriors will return to Chase Center to host the Brooklyn Nets following a day off on Saturday.
The Nets’ trip to the Bay Area won’t feature former Warriors forward Kevon Durant. The former NBA Finals Most Valuable Player will miss Sunday’s contest as he continues to recover from a knee injury. The Nets have lost four out of their last five games without Durant.
Heading into Sunday’s game, the Warriors are coming off an impressive shorthanded win against the Cavaliers to end their road trip with a 3-2 record.
