Netherlands vs Wales: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h - Nations League today

Wales will finish up a busy, and productive, summer of internationals away to the Netherlands in the Nations League tonight.

While this summer’s campaign was clearly all about securing World Cup qualification for Rob Page’s side, its important Wales continue to build momentum ahead of Qatar and keep within touching distance of Poland, who sit three points ahead.

Having come so close to taking something from the reverse fixture in Cardiff only days after the high of making a first World Cup since 1958, Page should feel confident.

Louis van Gaal’s side looked somewhat fragile during their draw with Poland on Saturday and beating them in their own backyard would be quite the statement heading into the summer.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game...

Date, kick-off time and venue

The Nations League game is scheduled for a 7.45pm BST kick-off today, Tuesday June 14, 2022.

De Kuip in Rotterdam will host.

Netherlands vs Wales team news

Matthijs de Ligt could replace Jurrien Timber in defence for the home side, with van Gaal admitting the Ajax defender was in need of a rest following the draw with Poland.

Cody Gakpo could also come in for Steven Bergwijn, although Jasper Cillessen is expected to shake off a knock to start in goal.

Page is without Neco Williams, Danny Ward, Joe Morrell, Joe Allan and Kieffer Moore through injury, while Rhys Norrington-Davies is suspended.

Netherland vs Wales prediction

Wales have been building and Page’s team are due a big result. The home side may be bossing the group, but the kind of defensive frailty they showed on Saturday can be exploited from a Welsh perspective.

Wales to win 2-1.

Head to head (h2h) history and results
