Netherlands legend aims 'weird' dig at Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk

Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk has been labelled “weird” for his performances for his national team.

The Reds centre-back was the star for the Netherlands as they claimed a 1-0 win over Belgium on Sunday night. Van Dijk scored the only goal of the game as Holland won the Nations League clash.

Van Dijk captains his country and is a regular starter for the Netherlands. Ajax’s Jurrien Timber and Manchester City’s Nathan Ake are often used as his defensive partners.
