Looking to kick back and relax in front of a new Netflix show this week? Like all the best streaming services, Netflix is constantly adding new shows and movies to the platform, and while that means we've got plenty to choose from, it can also make settling on one show in particular a tall order.
If you try to limit yourself to what's in Netflix's top 10 list, you might stumble on a top new watch, but I'm sure we've all been burned by a trending show at least once before. After all, a buzzworthy show might not necessarily be a "must-watch" show.
That's where I come in. Every week, I take a look at the Netflix top 10 shows list and highlight the three shows that I think belong on your watchlist. That way, you've got a handy list of recommendations waiting to go for the next time you're between Netflix shows.
You can find my top three picks (and the full Netflix top 10 shows list) below.
Note: This article is based on the Netflix U.S. top 10 list as of Tuesday, Netflix 24, 2026.
Best shows in the Netflix top 10
'Bridgerton'
Seeing "Bridgerton" season 4 in Netflix's top 10 is no great surprise: Shondaland's period romance continues to be one of the streamer's most-watched shows of all time.
Millions of viewers have tuned in to watch the Bridgerton siblings fall in love so far, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the show staying in the top 10 for weeks to come, as "Bridgerton" season 4 part 2 is dropping in just a couple of days. If you're not caught up, the latest season zooms in on Violet's bohemian second son, Benedict (Luke Thompson). Anthony and Colin might now be happily married, but Benedict doesn't seem ready to settle down just yet — though a chance encounter with a Lady in Silver (whom we know to be Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha) at a masquerade ball leaves him awestruck and determined to uncover her identity.

'The Lincoln Lawyer'
Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia Rulfo) is back for a fourth season of the hit Netflix legal drama, and in "The Lincoln Lawyer" season 4, he faces his biggest challenge yet: trying to defend himself.
This fourth instalment adapts the sixth of Michael Connelly's "Lincoln Lawyer" books and sees Mickey and his team working tirelessly to prove Haller's innocence in the murder of a former client, Sam Scales. To thwart Sam's last scam and prove that Haller didn't commit the murder he's accused of, Haller and co. go head-to-head with the DA's office, the FBI, and ghosts from Mickey's own past as they work to find and expose the real killer and save Mickey and his firm.

'The Night Agent'
Night Agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) is back in action for "The Night Agent" season 3, and it's sent the show straight back to the top of the Netflix charts, and TG's Malcolm McMillan says it's another worthy 10-hour binge: "Much like its fellow spy or crime thrillers — "Cross," "Reacher" or even "Slow Horses" — this show finds a formula that works and sticks with it," he wrote.
Off the back of the explosive second season, this third chapter sees Sutherland being called in to track down a young Treasury Agent who has fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel after killing his boss. That mission kicks off a chain of events that sees Netflix's favorite agent investigating a dark money network (and dodging its paid assassins) and puts him on a collision course with a relentless journalist.
