Like all the best streaming services, Netflix is constantly changing up its library. This month brought some great new movies to the streamer, but when you're spoiled for choice, narrowing down what to watch next can quickly become a headache.
The Netflix top 10 is as good a place to start as any, but not every movie that makes the ranking is guaranteed to be a hit. That's why I'm here every weekend to shout out which Netflix top 10 movies are actually worth the hype, so you can skip the scrolling and get to streaming.
This week, that includes a high-octane thriller, one of Russell Crowe's best movies, and an earworm-filled animated pop adventure. Not feeling any of these picks? Our guide to everything new on Netflix this month is packed with recommendations. Here are the three must-watch movies in Netflix’s top 10 this weekend. Enjoy!
This article is based on Netflix's top 10 movies list in the U.S. as of 11:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Best movies in the Netflix top 10
'War Machine (2026)
Netflix's latest action blockbuster "War Machine" is still topping the charts for the second week in a row, and while it didn't knock my socks off, it's easily the best of its kind in Netflix's top 10 right now (don't even get me started on how bad "Trap House" was). If you've already binged "Reacher" season 3 and can't get enough Alan Ritchson, you can find him fighting off an otherworldly in this quintessential dad action movie that's part "Predator" and part "War of the Worlds." "War Machine" doesn't quite stick the landing, which I blame on Netflix's overeager bid to turn this into a franchise, but all in all it's a great popcorn thriller to wile away a weekend afternoon.

'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (2025)
Netflix's most-streamed movie of all time is still hanging strong in the top 10, and with so many duds among the bunch this weekend, I'm tempted to recommend it yet again. This is one popular movie that actually lives up to the hype, and you can know next to nothing about K-pop (guilty) and still enjoy it. "K-Pop Demon Hunters" follows three K-pop stars, Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong), and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo), who protect the world from supernatural evils with their harmony. Their biggest challenge yet comes when a rival boy band, the Saja Boys, turns out to be demons in disguise. Before they can save the day, first the girls will have to tackle some tough truths and long-buried secrets to have a chance of winning.

'Nuremburg' (2025)
If today's headlines aren't terrifying enough, you can always revisit "Nuremberg," a historical thriller about the infamous Nuremberg trials, where high-ranking members of the Nazi party were prosecuted for crimes during World War II. Rami Malek stars as a U.S. Army psychiatrist tasked with evaluating 22 Nazi leaders under Allied custody ahead of the trials. He ends up locked in a battle of wits with Hitler’s former second in command, Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe), in what's easily one of the best performances of Crowe's career. “Nuremberg” is a very well-produced exploration of a moment in history we'd be careful not to forget.
