You star Penn Badgley has promised twist after twist as the latest episodes of season 4 arrive on Netflix.
Penn, 36, who plays serial killer and stalker Joe Goldberg in the hit show, spoke to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning about what viewers can expect from the second part of season 4.
After his antics in America force him to up-sticks and move to the UK, Joe has managed to land a job at the prestigious Darcy College in London, and now goes by a different name.
In part 1 of season 4, Joe promises his murderous ways are behind him, but then the Eat the Rich Killer haunts him and his friends start turning up dead, with Joe accused of being responsible.
While not going into detail about the next batch of episodes, Penn did say: "This isn't a spoiler, the twist you think you're waiting for in part two, it happens almost right away, it happens so soon.
"Then there's another twist, then there's another twist and by episodes nine and ten you're like 'what is happening?'"
Holly then said: "You sort of get the feeling he's in trouble which is really weird because normally he's the one causing the trouble.
"And of course he can't, this is not going to go that way, he can't be one that's out of trouble here surely."
Not giving anything away, Penn replied: "Well I don't know, I can't tell you that."
During his chat with Phil and Holly, Penn also explained how the show wasn't a hyper realistic portrayal of serial killers, but is actually more about the wrong types of love, with Joe embodying toxic traits that people can attribute to love.
Penn has previously explained he asked show bosses to reduce sex scenes in the show out of respect for his wife Domino Kirke, with whom he shares a son, James.
Speaking on his Podcrushed podcast, Penn told co-host Nava Kavelin: “I asked [showrunner] Sera Gamble can I just do no more intimacy scenes.”
The former Gossip Girl actor went on to say: “Fidelity in every relationship, including my marriage, is important to me.
"It's got to the point where I don't want to do that, so I said ‘my desire would be zero, to go from 100 to zero’.”
However, Penn went on to acknowledge that he had signed up for the show and signed his name on the dotted line of a contract, noting the steamy scenes were in the ‘DNA of the concept’ of You.
He continued: “So how much less can you make it, was my question to them. She didn't even bat an eye.
“She was really glad that I was that honest. She was sort of almost, I want to say empowered, it had a really positive response. They came back with a phenomenal reduction.”
