New video from last NFL season revealed just how much of a trash talker Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes is.
Mahomes is one of the main subjects of a new Netflix docuseries Quarterback that was officially released Wednesday. And after tuning into the show, NFL fans are highlighting one moment in particular that showcases Mahomes’ competitiveness. The show airs a moment from a matchup in Week 5 of last year, a game in which Mahomes and the Chiefs rallied from 17–0 down to beat the Las Vegas Raiders, 30–29.
Facing second and goal, Mahomes rolls right and finds Travis Kelce for one of his four touchdowns that night, giving Kansas City its first lead of the game. Afterwards, Mahomes went facemask-to-facemask with Raiders defensive lineman Maxx Crosby. His NSFW message:
“You woke up the wrong motherf---cker!”

Even after returning to the sidelines, Mahomes was still fired up, repeatedly yelling “I’m here!” in the direction of the Raiders bench with Andy Reid holding him back.
“All of the sudden, I go into that mode where I don’t know what I’m saying. I’m just kind of blacking out and going crazy,” Mahomes said. “Whenever Coach Reid has to grab you and pull you aside, that’s when you know you’re going too far.”
Fans loved seeing Mahomes’ competitive drive come out.

Note to opposing defenses: Don’t give Mahomes any extra fuel.
