If you, like many, were excited by the trailer for Netflix’s Day Shift, you won’t have to wait too long to see the full extent of the action. Starring Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg as a pair of unionised vampire killers looking to cash in on a lucrative market, the trailer would suggest that it's a heady mix of laughs and action that has become synonymous with much of Foxx’s work.
The sneak preview’s standout line comes from Snoop Dogg’s character Big John Elliot. In the trailer he is heard declaring: "Vampire hunting is a business: cutting necks and cashing checks."

Day Shift is set to be released at 8am on August 12 in the UK. This means you only have to wait one month to find out what a vampire fighting union looks like.

Unsurprisingly, for a big Netflix release, the cast of Day Shift contains a number of big names.
