A sneak preview of the much talked about Harry and Meghan Netflix documentary has landed. The trailer for the show flashes up various pictures of the couple, and snippets of interviews, concluding with the Duchess of Sussex sobbing and Harry throwing his head back in what looks to be despair.
The 59-second clip starts with various images of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, some together, others childhood pictures. The pictures sit alongside videos of the pair that are understood to "have never been seen before", according to Birmingham Mail. Netflix posted the trailer to Twitter and captioned it: "Harry & Meghan. A Netflix Global Event. Coming soon, only on Netflix."
The explosive documentary will feature six episodes. In the trailer, Harry says: "I had to do everything I could to protect my family." Meghan is seen concluding the clip saying: "When the stakes are this high doesn't it make more sense to hear our story from us?" According to the actress, viewers can expect "the piece of my life I haven't been able to share, that people haven't been able to see – our love story".

The couple signed a multi-year deal with the hit streaming service giant back in 2020 - but as of yet, no content has been released. At the time, Harry and Meghan said: "Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us. [Netflix's] unprecedented reach will help us share impactful content that unlocks action."
Speaking in a recent interview with Variety magazine, the Duchess said: "It's nice to be able to trust someone with our story - a seasoned director whose work I've long admired - even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it.
"But that's not why we're telling it. We're trusting our story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens." She added: "So much of how my husband and I see things is through our love story. I think that’s what people around the world connected to, especially with our wedding.
"People love love. I’m not excluded in that sentiment. And our definition of love is really expansive: Partner love, self-love, the love of community and family. We use that as the baseline of the kind of shows and documentaries we want out there."
