Dubbed the 'sickest' film on Netflix, viewers have taken to social media after watching the horror thriller Soft & Quiet. Described as 'unhinged' by some, the film starts with a kindergarten teacher organising a meeting of the 'Daughters for Aryan Unity', a white supremacist group.
The members discuss various grievances against immigrants, minorities, Jews and feminists - then events take an even darker turn. Soft & Quiet has received a 87 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the website's consensus reading: "A painfully timely horror-fuelled thriller, Soft & Quiet forces the viewer to confront the ugly underbelly of modern American race relations."
The thriller is not for the faint hearted and sparked a strong reaction from viewers taking to Twitter. Don't spoil it for yourself. Go in blind & don't look away. Masterful filmmaking!"
