Netflix Bridgerton fans go wild as Daphne star Phoebe Dynevor shares baby snap with a notable absence

Bridgerton finally returned to Netflix on Friday with a second series after attracting audiences in their droves the first time around. The streaming service brought Regency London into everyone's homes at the end of a challenging 2020.

The series soon became one of Netflix's most-watched shows, with more than 80 million households tuning in throughout the first month.

The first series saw debutante Daphne Bridgerton on the hunt for a husband and end up falling for Simon Bassett, aka the Duke of Hastings. The pair faced challenges at the start, but by the end of the series, the pair married and welcomed a baby into the world.

The second series will shift the focus on Simon and Daphne’s relationship to Anthony Bridgerton's quest to find a wife, similar to the books it's based on. Phoebe Dynevor is reprising her role in the second series of Bridgerton but Regé-Jean Page, who played the Duke, won't be featured.

However, their baby will be in tow and Trafford-born actress Phoebe has sent fans will by sharing a selfie alongside the tot playing her child and the rest of the Bridgerton family clan. Daphne's mother Violet, also known as Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton and played by Ruth Gemmell, is seen sitting by her side as her older brother Anthony, portrayed by Jonathan Bailey, flashes a huge smile to the camera just behind her.

Also in the picture are the two other Bridgerton brothers, Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Colin (Luke Newton), as well as Daphne's sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie).

Taking to Instagram, 26-year-old Phoebe, who is the daughter of Coronation Street icon Sally Dynevor, shared the adorable family selfie to her millions of followers, simply captioning it with a red love heart emoji. Fans were soon flooding the post with comments, particular about her on-screen child who looked adorable in a white gown and matching bonnet.
