Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed world leaders at the United Nations, emphasizing Israel's determination to continue degrading Hezbollah until its objectives along the Lebanon border are met. Netanyahu expressed Israel's stance against daily rocket fire from the area, stating that Israel has the right to remove this threat and ensure the safety of its citizens.

Netanyahu defended Israel's response to the attacks by Hamas on Israel, which led to an Israeli military operation in Gaza. He refuted claims made by other leaders at the UN, asserting that Israel is fighting for its life and seeking to set the record straight.

While expressing a desire for peace, Netanyahu warned of retaliatory measures against Iran if provoked. He criticized the world's appeasement of Iran and called for an end to such actions.

Israel's military campaign in Gaza has resulted in significant casualties, with over 41,500 Palestinians killed and 96,000 wounded. Netanyahu reiterated that the conflict could end if Hamas surrenders, but Israel is prepared to fight until total victory is achieved.

Israel has also targeted Hezbollah militants along the Lebanon border, leading to civilian casualties. The international community has called for an immediate cease-fire to prevent further escalation and displacement of thousands of people.

As Netanyahu spoke at the UN, there were disruptions in the audience, reflecting the contentious nature of the conflicts in the region. Other leaders criticized Israel's actions, calling for an end to the war and condemning the civilian casualties in Gaza.

With tensions high and calls for peace growing louder, the situation in the region remains volatile, with the hope for a lasting resolution seeming increasingly elusive.
