A scandal has erupted in Israel, engulfing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office after the arrest of two close associates.

The pair are suspected of accepting Qatari money to bolster the Gulf state's image within Israel, raising concerns about foreign influence at the highest levels of government.
