A specialist consultancy that helps businesses reduce energy consumption is expanding with the creation of around 40 jobs.
ClearVUE.Business, which has its head office in Gateshead, has developed technology that can give companies detailed information about energy usage - helping them on their way to achieving net zero and save money. The firm, which currently comprises a team of 30 people based across three continents, has won a string of contacts including partnerships with Watford Football Club, a leading UK gardening charity and one of the country's top public schools.
The business hopes to capitalise on the push towards net zero - including the impetus from Government targets - and is already worked with organisations to provide them with granular data about when and how energy is being consumed. Its ClearVUE.Zero technology gives clients insights that can be used to make decisions about how to reach optimal energy performance, reduce their energy expenditure, lower the carbon footprint and reduce the impact on the environment.
