Rangers icon Ally McCoist has told his former team they cannot afford to lose to Celtic when the pair clash in their title blockbuster on Sunday.
The 59-year-old admits the big one is in his head four days before the great rivals lock horns at Ibrox.
McCoist was quizzed by radio co-host Laura Woods about his current thinking ahead of Ange Postecoglou 's league leaders taking on Rangers.
A win for for Celtic would see them six points clear at the top and the club legend insists that's something Gio van Bronckhorst's side must make sure doesn't happen.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he didn't hide any pre-match butterflies, McCoist said: "Nervous, I'm always feeling this way around about Wednesday.
"Nothing between them at this moment in time, Celtic are obviously top of the league, I don't think it is a game Rangers can afford to be beaten in.
"It's going to 'wooo'."
But McCoist admits the thrilling run of fixtures across British football in the coming weeks will be worth savouring.
The contest at Ibrox is among a host of blockbusters which are looming with no international break in sight until the domestic season has been concluded.
He added: "I was thinking about there, because I did co-commentary in the Scotland game last night.
"I'm sitting back at the hotel, there is some football coming up, not even thinking about the World Cup.
"Whether it's Old Firm, whether it's Manchester City vs Liverpool, whether it's Leeds, whether it's Everton."
