New Delhi: Twenty one people from Tamil Nadu, who had travelled to Nepal for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, have been rescued in the wake of the devastating flash floods in the neighbouring country, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
In an X post on Thursday, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal shared the names of these 21 Indian nationals.
"Update on Indian nationals rescued in Nepal. 21 Indian nationals from Tamil Nadu, who travelled for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, have been rescued in Nepal," he said.

Massive flash floods originating from Tibet swept through central Nepal on Wednesday, razing down several towns and villages, washing away critical bridges and crippling a dozen hydropower projects as it gushed downstream, affecting multiple districts.
