Nene Leakes Calls Out Porsha Williams For Refusing To Film

NeNe Leakes

NeNe Leakes recently took to Instagram to share her disappointment over an alleged incident involving Porsha Williams on the set of Netflix's The Upshaws. Leakes revealed that she was approached for a role on the show and was excited about the opportunity to work alongside stars like Mike Epps and Wanda Sykes. However, she claimed that Williams refused to film with her, leading to her role being recast with Cynthia Bailey.

Leakes recounted flying to Los Angeles for the show's production, only to find out that Williams did not show up for work and expressed her unwillingness to work with Leakes due to past issues. Leakes expressed shock at Williams' alleged actions, citing their past interactions that included double-dates and trips together.

Leakes mentioned reaching out to Williams, who reportedly cited her ongoing divorce as a reason for not wanting to work together. Leakes emphasized that she had supported Williams during her previous divorce and was surprised by the turn of events.

Leakes concluded her Instagram posts by suggesting that Williams did not want to share the spotlight and referred to her as a 'Bravolebrity' rather than a star. The incident marks the latest development in the relationship between the former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars, who last appeared together on the show in 2020.

Williams, who recently announced her return for the upcoming season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has not yet publicly commented on the matter. People has reached out to a representative for Williams for further clarification.
